Death metal band Torture lost touring members, and the frontman K.K. seeks a new lineup.
“My touring members had to step away from the band, due to many different factors,” he wrote on Torture’s Instagram stories. “I wish them all the absolute best, I love them so much, and sincerely hope their decision results in the bettering of their lives + well-being.”
The singer continued, “That being said, I’m currently looking for new members. This is not the end, I WILL continue no matter what. It’s extremely disappointing to have to cancel this month’s dates, but we will hopefully be back next month. I’m so sorry to anyone who wanted to see us these upcoming weeks, this came as a shock to me as well. I love you all so much. WE WILL BE BACK!!!!!!!”
Torture was one of several bands invited to join Undeath on their first North American tour, along with Kruelty, Gates to Hell, and Tribal Gaze. They were set to play on certain dates between October 15 and 27.
Undeath has not yet said anything about Torture dropping out of the tour. The tour continues and Tribal Gaze will perform until October 13. Kruelty and Gates to Hell are scheduled for the rest of the tour.
“This is going to be one crazy ass motherfucking slobberknocker of a sicko death metal tour and will unquestionably be the best distorted guitar music tour of the year. Run, don’t walk, get your ass to a show and come party with all of us,” they said in a press release.
Torture was started by K.K. in 2022 and has released four records since then.
