Music journalist Mitch Lafon recently took to social media to respond to the recent incident between the Jane’s Addiction members.
The incident occurred on September 13 at the Leader Bank Pavilion in Boston, Massachusetts. Towards the end of Jane’s Addiction’s set, while they were ending ‘Ocean Size,’ Perry Farrell bumped into Dave Navarro, got in his face, and swore at him. Navarro seemed confused and asked what was going on. He eventually stopped playing and put a hand on Farrell’s chest.
Lafon believes that Skid Row might face a situation similar to the tension between Navarro and Farrell if they reunite with Sebastian Bach.
“After seeing this, there’s no way anyone could still want Sebastian Bach back in Skid Row. Would be ten times worse,” Lafon commented on the incident. However, the fans don’t agree with Lafon.
“Maybe I’m naively optimistic but I think Sebastian has learned a little bit along the way. I think he would be fine,” a user wrote. “I don’t agree with that at all, Bach could work. Also, Etty’s account glosses over that Perry seemed to be impaired and also did not explain why he was so mad at Dave in the first place other than starting the song early. Why not stop the show and work out the sound issues?,” another added.
“I’d pay big money to watch Bach slug one of them after he plays ‘Youth Gone Wild!!’,” another user wrote.
It still doesn’t look like Bach will be returning with Skid Row anytime soon, but he keeps sending the band subtle messages about the possibility. The rocker shared a collaborative post with Rob Affuso on Instagram, comparing the possibility of a Skid Row reunion to the recently announced Oasis reunion.
The band members made it clear many times that they wouldn’t reunite with the former singer. It doesn’t look like Bach’s messages are convincing them to get back together.
