Ted Lasso fans have been desperate for Apple TV+ to announce a fourth season of the popular sports drama, now it looks like there has been a huge shift towards it happening.
According to Deadline, while Ted Lasso Season 4 is still not officially greenlit yet, but Warner Bros. Television, who make the comedy series for Apple TV+, have reportedly picked up options on three of the show’s main stars. Hannah Waddingham, Brett Goldstein, and Jeremy Swift are now reportedly exactly where they need to be if Ted Lasso‘s fourth season is announced.
The report also suggests that a move has already been made to secure new contracts with co-creators Jason Sudeikis and Brenda Hunt, who appear as the titular character and Coach Beard, respectively, along with Juno Temple, who plays Keeley Jones.
Although there is still a way to go before Season 4 becomes a reality, the update comes after months of speculation caused by various stars of the series expressing their willingness to return if Sudeikis is willing to produce more episodes.
