Heart is back!
Nancy Wilson has announced that Heart will be hitting the road again and revealed when.
“We did almost 20 shows on the Heart tour this [past] year,” the guitarist said during an interview with Ultimate Classic Rock. “We’re coming back out in February — we’re rescheduling [the shows and] they’re about to be announced.”
“Going out on the stage again with my sister and with these great players, just kick ass players, was really uplifting. Really satisfying, super exciting, fulfilling,” she added.
Earlier this year, Heart kicked off the Royal Flush Tour, their first big tour since 2019. Featuring support from Cheap Trick, the tour was set to run until late September. However, Ann’s health issues led to a postponement after 20 shows.
Ann informed fans that she had surgery to remove a cancerous growth. As a result, Heart had to cancel their summer 2024 European tour because Ann needed time to recover from a medical procedure that’s ‘time-sensitive but routine.’ She stated an apology on social media back in May, and let her fans know that they didn’t need to worry as she was okay.
Before Heart hits the stage again, Nancy Wilson will join a women-only edition of the Rock and Roll Fantasy Camp. The event will be happening from December 5-8 in Los Angeles. It will also feature appearances by Lita Ford, Nita Strauss, and Sheila E.
